Based in New York City, Capital Ocean was founded by Eric Weinberg to help well established real estate operators expand their capital markets network for joint venture equity partners. Focusing on only the equity portion of the capital stack, Mr. Weinberg has vast and deep capital relationships ranging from family offices and middle market private equity funds, to insurance companies and pension fund managers.
Mr. Weinberg focuses on transactions that fly under the radar for the largest institutional investors but are too large for small club syndications. Typically, these are transactions in the $10MM - $75MM range, requiring approximately $5MM - $50MM of joint venture equity.
